The 2024 Edition of the West African Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (WASPEN) is billed to hold from 3 to 7 June, 2024, at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) under the distinguished chairmanship of the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare , Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate.
With the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the chief host of the conference, it will also feature prominent leaders of the healthcare team including Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Health, Dr (Mrs) Kemi Ogunyemi as keynote speaker, LUTH CMD, Prof. Wasiu Lanre Adeyemo as host.
While special guests will include President, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Prof. Cyril Usifoh; President, Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Dr Uche Rowland Ojinma; and President, Dietitians Association of Nigeria (DAN); Prof. Olivia Afam-Anene,
The strategic conference, according to the Convener, Dr Teresa Isichei Pounds, is for all health professionals, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, nutrition enthusiasts, lab scientists, researchers, students and government bodies.
