The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) has scheduled its 83rd World Congress of pharmacists to hold in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 31 August to 3 September, 2025.
The congress will be featuring experts in pharmacy practice, sciences and education, under the theme, “Pharmacy Forward: Performance, collaboration, and Health Transformation”.
In a statement made available to Pharmanewsonline, it was disclosed that the congress will be attended by over 2,500 from 99 countries, who have already registered for this global event.
This year’s congress, according to the organisers, aims to explore the evolving role of the pharmacy profession in the context of modern healthcare challenges, how pharmacists can drive the performance of healthcare systems, foster collaboration across sectors, and catalyse transformative changes to global health outcomes.
International discussions that shape the future of Pharmacy will also take place at the FIP Council Meeting, the FIP, also revealed. Likely topics on the agenda will include a new FIP policy statement on artificial intelligence and a new statement on pharmaceutical care.
