Blessing Adewunmi, daughter of the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, has passed on due to complications during childbirth at a hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Sources indicate that Blessing, who got married to Olumuyiwa Adewumi on 22 June, 2024, tragically lost her life on Monday, 27 January.
The development has led to an outpouring of condolences from state officials, politicians, and friends, who have expressed deep sympathy for the bereaved family.
