As a way of showing appreciation and to congratulate her for her outstanding efforts towards the progress of the association, members of the Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria (AHAPN) Anambra State Chapter made a courtesy visit to the new Head of Department (HOD) Pharmacy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi, Dr (Mrs) Joy Ichoku, on her new appointment and also to seek her continued support.
Congratulating Ichoku on her latest appointment, the Chairman of the state branch, Dr (Mrs) Amara Nwaka explained that the main objective for their coming is to welcome and appreciate her.
Ichoku expressed her delight at the visit, while recalling her unflinching commitment as a member of the association in the past including holding executive position in the association.
She said this will only spur her to do and give more to the association in her new position. She expressed delight with the dynamic and progressive leadership of the present executives.
The new HOD of Pharmacy, NAUTH further emphasized that the members of the association should continue to close ranks and pursue specialization and professionalism, if hospital pharmacists in Nigeria must remain relevant.
Ichoku was thereafter presented with the new AHAPN system magazine, while she appreciated everyone that has contributed in one way or the other to the association.
