
The Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (NAIP) has elected new executive council members that will steer the affairs of the association for a period of two years.
The new exco were elected at the association’s Annual General Meeting held on Thursday, 26 June , 2025. The AGM and election were part of the activities that marked the association’s 2025 annual national conference.
After the electoral exercise, Pharm. Bankole Ezebuilo emerged the national chairman of the association. Until his emergence as the national chairman, Pharm. Ezebuilo was the vice chairman of the association.
Pharm. Ezebuilo succeeded Pharm. Ken Onuebgu who has been described as an achiever, after completing four years of two terms.
Also, Pharm. Abu-Saeed Kamaldeen was elected the 1st vice national chairman of the association, while Pharm. Valentine Okelu became the 2nd vice national chairman. Similarly, Rosemary Lawson was elected general secretary of the association. She took over from Pharm. Joy Adeshina.
Other newly elected exco members of the association are Ajibo Charles Obinna who was elected welfare officer, Emeka Ndnechi – publicity secretary, Layi Abidoye – internal auditor, Siyaka Ominisi – financial Secretary, Gloria Chiniwuko – assistant general secretary, Obiwulu Chimezie Emmanuel – national treasurer, Rustum Ajiboye – ex-officio and Emeka Opanah – ex-Officio.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Pharm. Ezebuilo expressed profound appreciation to all members of the association for the confidence they reposed on him to lead the association, even as he promised to live up to expectation.
