Christian Pharmacists Fellowship Swears-In New Executive Members

Sequel to the recent election conducted by the Lagos Chapter of Christian Pharmacists Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), nine new executive members were sworn-in on Wednesday, 26 June 2019.

The ceremony which took place at the Fellowship’s 10th Annual Business Outreach held at Sheraton Hotel & Tower, witnessed a massive turnout of pharmacists from all arms of the profession.

In attendance were Pharm. Ike Onyechi, immediate past national president, CPFN; Pharm. Okey Akpa, guest speaker; Pharm. Chris Ojeabulu, founder/CEO, OakFaith Pharmaceuticals Limited; Pharm Uche Uwana, managing director, Sylken Pharmaceuticals; Pharm. Cornelius Umanze, vice president, CPFN among others.

Congratulating the new executives, Sir Ifeanyi Atueyi, managing director of Pharmanews Limited and one of the three guest speakers at the outreach enjoined them to take their new commitment as if their lives depend on it.

Citing his call to duty as editor-in-chief of The Nigerian Pharmacy Journal as example, the pharmacist disclosed that his passion in making the publication into a revenue generating medium and an overnight success was the breeding ground for the eventual success of Pharmanews today.

“I encourage you to see your new calling as a call to serve God and humanity. See it as if you are doing God’s work and He will reward you,” he charged them. The new executive members are Jude Elue, president; Jude Chinemelu, vice president; Adeshina Opanubi, secretary; Ifeanyi Okechukwu, financial secretary; Nike Adenuga, prayer secretary; Peter Onimisi, public relations officer; Tosin Adeyemi, treasurer; Funto Olude, member; Stanley Kumolu-Johnson, member and Ogheneochuko Omaruaye, ex-officio.
