Days after a member of the Imo State House of Assembly tested positive for COVID-19, 13 more members of the House have been confirmed positive for the infection.
This brings the total of infected lawmakers in the state to 14.
The spokesman for the State Task Force on COVID-19, Chinedu Iwuala confirmed the 13 new cases on Tuesday.
Iwuala confirmed to Channels TV that the infected lawmakers have gone into isolation and the assembly will remain shut indefinitely.
