-As seven more patients tested negative in Lagos

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as at 09:30pm on Thursday 9th April 2020, disclosed that there are 14 new cases of the virus in the country making a total of 288 persons infected with the disease.

Making the disclosure through its Twitter handle, the agency noted that the 14 new cases of #COVID19, 13 were from Lagos, and one in Delta state.

The Agency also added that as at 9:30pm April there are 288 confirmed cases, 51 discharged, and  seven deaths recorded in the country.

Currently; Lagos- 158 FCT- 54 Osun- 20 Edo- 12 Oyo- 11 Bauchi- 6 Akwa Ibom- 5 Ogun- 4 Kaduna- 5 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-2 Kwara- 2 Delta- 2 Benue- 1 Ondo- 1 Katsina-1.

Also, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that the state has discharged seven coronavirus (COVID-19) patients. He announced this via his Twitter handle

He added that the 7 patients include one female and six males. Three of the discharged male patients are foreign nationals; two Ukrainians and one Italian.
