COVID-19: Infection Cases Hit 305 in Nigeria – NCDC

-As seven patients tested negative in Lagos

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as at 09:30 pm on Friday 10th April 2020, disclosed that there are17 new cases of the virus in the country making a total of 305 persons infected with the disease.

Making the disclosure through its Twitter handle, the agency noted that the 17 new cases of #COVID19, eight were from Lagos, three in the Katsina, two in FCT, one in Niger, one in Kaduna, and one in Anambra.

The Agency also added there are 58 discharged, and seven  deaths recorded in the country.

Also, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that seven more COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital in the state today April 10.

This brings to 46 the number of patients that have recovered and have been discharged since the index case of the viral disease was first recorded in February.

With 158 confirmed cases, Lagos is the epicenter of Coronavirus disease in Nigeria.
