The story of the 80th birthday celebration of Pharm. (Sir) Ifeanyi Atueyi, managing director, Pharmanews Ltd, will be uncompleted without the mention of the dinner organised by Pharm. Kennedy Izunwa, managing director, Foundation Pharma Ltd, also member, Pharmacy Tower Committee, and his colleagues, in honour of the Pharmanews boss at 80.
The 80th birthday dinner, held at the serene environment of the New Chinese Restaurant, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, was attended by Kennedy Izunwa and his friends, Pharm. Paul Ekwebelem; Pharm. Clifford Esomonu; and Mr Amish Savia of Asoj Soft Caps PVT. Ltd. India; the celebrant Sir Atueyi and wife, Lady Joan Atueyi.
It was be recalled that Pharmanews Ltd celebrated her 40th anniversary and 80th birthday of Atueyi on 1 October at the Sheba event centre, Ikeja, which was immensely graced by key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
Atueyi expressed his profound gratitude to the organisers of the birthday dinner, saying he never saw it coming, as it was well appreciated, and he welcomed their partner, Savia, who came all the way from India to felicitate with him.
