On his part, Managing Director of Mark Pharmaceuticals Limited, Mr Chinaka Okani, explained the rationale behind the launch of the products.

“As at last year, we got in contact with an American company, Alfa Vitamins and signed an MoU to market their products in Nigeria and in some other African countries. We have registered the products with NAFDAC and luckily the PSN conference presented itself as an opportunity for us to launch the products”, he stated.

On the potentials of the products in the very large and highly competitive Nigerian pharmaceutical market, he said: “These products will make a lot of mark in the Nigerian pharmaceutical market. This is going by the times we are in. Everyone needs wellness products to survive, bearing in mind the fact that we are in the era of COVID. You will also agree with me that, because of our busy schedules, most of us don't have time to eat balanced diets and so such inadequacy is compensated with vitamins”.

And talking about affordability, you will better appreciate the importance of multivitamins and supplements when you realise their essential health benefits.
