Mora Pays Last Respect to Late Anambra DPS, Anyachebelu

The Chairman, Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) Prof. Ahmed Tijjani Mora, was in Anambra State, Idemili North LGA recently for the funeral ceremony of the late Pharm. (Chief) Ephraim Chukwugozie Anyachebelu, popularly known as CEO of Gauze Pharmaceutical and Laboratories Limited.

Prof. Mora was the Registrar of the PCN, during the period the late Anyachebelu, was the Director of Pharmaceutical Services in Anambra State and Member of the Governing Council of the PCN.

The PCN Chief graced the occasion in the company of other prominent pharmacists including: HRM Ezechuamagha of Ogidi Kingdom; Pharm. (Igwe) Alex Uzodinma Onyido; Pharm. Joseph Odumodu; Pharm. Uche Apakama; Pharm. (Sir) Echezeona, former DPS, Anambra State; Pharm. Obinna Chris Emeneka of the Anambra State House of Assembly, chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation; Pharm. Patrick Obi, Chairman, Anambra State PSN; PCN officials from Anambra State Office, among others.

The late Sir Anyachebelu, was known by many as a philanthropist and an industrialist, who made tremendous impacts on individuals he worked with while alive.

One of the people he influenced described him thus: “Sir Gauze Anyachebelu is really a man of generosity. He is different from what we see among others in our community. He is a true Christian whose immense contribution is not only towards the church but also empowering the lives of many people. It is said that God has made us his friends through Christ. So I want to say that Sir Gauze as a true Christian has truly empowered many people out of his abundance”.

While mourning the late philanthropist, Senator Uche Ekwunife, representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, eulogized Anyachebelu, describing him as the Oraukwu born businessman as an accomplished pharmacists whose company, Gauze Pharmaceuticals play a leading role in the production of healthcare and pharmaceutical products in Anambra State and beyond.

She stated that Sir Anyachebelu through his establishments created a lot of direct and indirect jobs in the state, added to his many philanthropic gestures.

The Senator noted that the late Sir Gauze will be fondly remembered for his many selfless services to his community, the state and to humanity, as she prayed God to grant him eternal rest in his bosom, and equally grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
