For Sir Ifeanyi Atueyi, managing director/publisher, Pharmanews, the memories of the just concluded 13th Annual Scientific Conference & Exposition, of the Nigerian Association of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists in the Americas (NAPPSA), held in Atlanta, Georgia, from 12 to 15 September, will linger long, as he was surprisingly celebrated for his 80th birthday at the conference.
The NAPPSA executives thought it necessary to use the conference to felicitate with the Pharmanews boss, who will be clocking 80 on 1 October 2019, ahead of the main celebration in Nigeria, with the cutting of a birthday cake.
Also at the conference, five members of NAPPSA were conferred with the Fellowship of the association, with their names as follow: Dr Ekopimo Ibia (posthumous), Pharm. Emma Omehe; Dr Teresa Pounds; Prof. Adeboye Adejare, and Pharm. Kunle Tometi.
