Ten new cases of COVID-19 have just been announced in Nigeria, by the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, with 7 from Lagos and 3 from FCT.
The health minister gave the total number of patients with the disease to be 22 in the country with Lagos 16, FCT 3, Ekiti 1 & Ogun 2, while 2 have been discharged.
He said all are Nigerians, with travel history from Canada, France, Netherlands, Spain &UK, and 1 close contact of a known case.
Ehanire however noted that all cases are stable, while he urged all citizens to strictly adhere to preventive measures of regular hand washing,
non-contact greetings, avoid crowded gatherings
social distance (2 metres), and self-isolation if returning from abroad following @NCDCGov guidelines.
