-as Lagos State government discharged nine more patients

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has just announced 117 of COVID-19 new cases and increase in deaths from 22 to 25.

With the 117 new cases, Nigeria now has a total of 782 cases, 197 recoveries, and 25 deaths.

Making the disclosure via its Twitter handle, the NCDC said: “As at 11:25 pm 21st April 2020, there are 782 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”.

They also noted that the 117 new cases are from different states in Nigeria, 59 in Lagos, 29 in F.C.T 14 in Kano, 6 in Gombe, 4 in Katsina, 3 in Ogun, 1 in Rivers, and 1 in Bauchi.

The breakdown cases by states currently are as follows: Lagos-430, FCT-118, Kano-73, Osun-20, Ogun-20, Oyo-16, Katsina-16, Edo-15, Kwara-9, Kaduna-9, Akwa Ibom-9, Borno-9, Bauchi-8, Gombe-5, Delta-4, Ekiti-4, Ondo-3, Rivers-3, Jigawa-2, Enugu-2, Niger-2, Abia-2, Benue-1, Anambra-1, Sokoto-1.

Also, the Lagos state government has discharged nine more COVID-19 patients in the state.This was announced in a tweet by Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Special Adviser on New Media, Jubril Gawat.

According to Jubril, the patients include five females, and four males which includes one Polish national. 107 COVID-19 patients have been discharged in the state.
