The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has just announced 170 new cases of COVID-19 and increase in deaths from 85 to 87 deaths.
With the 170 new cases, Nigeria now has a total of 2558 cases, 400 recoveries, and 87 deaths.
Making the disclosure via its Twitter handle, the NCDC said: “As at 12:00am 4th May 2020, there are 2558 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”.

29-Kano
24-Ogun
18-Bauchi
15-Kaduna
12-FCT
12-Sokoto
8-Katsina
7-Borno
3-Nasarawa
2-Adamawa
1-Oyo
Respoding to the NCDC update, Ikugbadi via his Twitter handle advised Nigerians as he said: ” As we go out tomorrow for our daily breads, we all should know that Coronavirus is invisible, so we should use our facemask, avoid unnecessary gathering and be sceptical about everyone around us because some people might be carrier of #COVID19 without knowing or showing any symptom” @Ikugbadi
