As serious preparations towards easing the lockdown gets closer, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has just announced 196 new cases of COVID-19 and increase in deaths from 44 to 51 deaths.
With the 196 new cases, Nigeria now has a total of 1728 cases, 307 recoveries, and 51 deaths.
Making the disclosure via its Twitter handle, the NCDC said: “As at 11:50pm 29th April 2020, there are 1728 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”.
