The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has just confirmed 238 new cases of COVID-19 and increase in deaths from 58 to 68 deaths.
With the 238 new cases, Nigeria now has a total of 2170 cases, 351 recoveries, and 68 deaths.
Making the disclosure via its Twitter handle, the NCDC said: “As at 11:00pm 1st May 2020, there are 2170 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”.
They also noted that the 238 new cases are from different states in Nigeria:
