The Nigerian Society of Critical Care Nurses (NSCCN) in collaboration with World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN) has scheduled her 15th National Scientific Conference / 7th Critical Care Congress NSCCN to hold from 30 September to 5 October, 2019, at the Abubakar Tafawa Belewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi.
Themed: “Cardio-Pulmonary Emergencies: The challenging roles of a critical care nurse”, the conference will feature international speakers such as Prof. Adeyinka Adebayo, USA; Joy Henderson, USA; Josiah Yunane Dibal; Dr Jagila Wesley MD, USA, Dr Louisdon Pierre, Brooklyn USA; Jide Bankole, UK, and others.
Some of the sub-themes for the conference include: Clinical manifestation and diagnosis of stress; Treatment of pulmonary hypertension in adults; Current trends in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, how to identify cardiac arrest; Evaluation and management of suspected sepsis and septic shock in adult; Heated and Humidified high flow of nasal oxygen, practical consideration and potential application, etc.
