Nigerians are reacting vehemently on Twitter this morning Sunday May 31, following the report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday.
The report shows that Nigeria recorded 553 new cases of the infection on Saturday.
Lagos, the worst hit state by the coronavirus pandemic, in the country recorded 378 new cases, while FCT had 52, making the state the highest so far in a single day since the pandemic started in February this year.
Reacting to the uproar on Twitter, NCDC posted a picture saying: “Be patient or be a patient”
The protesters expressed shock at the increasing number of cases of the viral disease in Lagos, which has remained the epicentre of the pandemic in Nigeria.
