Nomination has commenced for the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award, NHEA, the Oscar of Nigerian healthcare, which is an annual event organised to recognise and celebrate outstanding personalities and organisations for their extraordinary contributions to healthcare in Nigeria.
The organisers in a press statement mailed to Pharmanews, revealed the criteria to be considered by the NHEA Jury team before announcing winners to include: Outstanding performances; the creation of new business models; recognizing and embracing new trends; market leadership and inspirational performance among others.
It is in the light of this that the management of Pharmanews Ltd (Winner, 2017, 2018, & 2019 Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award for Print Media) seeks nomination from her loyal readers and advertisers for the category of: Healthcare Media Excellence Award-Print.
Being the 7th edition of the healthcare excellence award ceremony, nominations for different award categories are expected from over 8,700 healthcare stakeholders and members of the public, as the grand finale will be graced by members of the healthcare community, dignitaries from affiliate sectors and personalities in top echelons of the society.
Themed: “Inspire, Innovate, Collaborate”, the organisers expressed their intention to continuously use the platform presented by the award to inspire, promote innovation and collaboration in the ecosystem.
According to the NHEA Chairman, Dr Anthony Omolola, “The programme will recognise the rapid growth of Nigeria’s healthcare sector, the role of technology and the capacity of organisations and individuals to influence and set new performance standards in Nigeria and beyond”.
The date for the grand finale, scheduled to hold in September at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, will be communicated in due course, while nominations continues.
