-As the 93rd PSN Conference Commences
As the world continues to grasp with the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic with many world economies going into recession in the course of the year, the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Pharm.(Mazi) Sam Ohuabunwa has urged pharmacists in the country to continue to leverage the use of modern technology in delivering excellent pharmaceutical services across the country.
Ohuabunwa gave this charge while speaking at the opening ceremony of the 93rd National Conference of the PSN holding in Oshogbo, the Osun State capital.
He noted that perhaps, the economic challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic would have been worse but for the help of technological innovations.
The PSN helms man remarked that although, the global impact of the pandemic was still evolving, what would make the difference between economies and businesses in the end, would be their ability to evolve and adapt the use of technological tools beating the challenges of the time
The 93rd conference is the first hybrid conference of the PSN and the first to be held in Oshogbo, the Osun State capital. The physical conference is ongoing in Osun state, Nigeria with many pharmacists in attendance, while many other pharmacists from across the globe are joining virtually via online platforms.
