Pharm. (Mrs) Olayinka Folashade Oredola is an accomplished pharmacist and serial entrepreneur with a deep passion for Nigeria’s development and socio-economic transformation. Over the years, she has built a versatile career spanning healthcare, energy, defence and construction, leveraging her expertise in marketing, project management and strategic management to deliver sustainable business growth across multiple sectors.
She is the founder of Megacare Group, a pharmaceutical group that began with a focus on the marketing and sales of branded medicines. One of its subsidiaries, Megacare.ng, pioneered a “one-stop healthcare megastore” concept in Nigeria. The company has since evolved into Megacareonline Ltd, an e-commerce platform dedicated to enhancing the healthcare shopping experience through innovation, efficiency and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Expanding beyond healthcare, the enterprising Oredola co-founded and currently serves as vice-chairman of Petrobridge Ltd, a diversified consortium driving innovation and development across key sectors of the Nigerian economy. Through its strategic affiliations with reputable global multinationals such as Leonardo S.p.A. and China Road and Bridge Corporation, among others, Petrobridge manages an extensive portfolio of projects that deliver measurable socio-economic advancement and infrastructural transformation nationwide.
Prior to her transition into entrepreneurship, Oredola built a distinguished corporate career with Sanofi-Aventis, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company. She was the first female executive director of the company in Nigeria and later served as chief operating officer of the pharmaceutical division at May & Baker Nigeria Plc.
She was also a founding director of Biovaccines Nigeria Ltd, a public-private partnership established to pioneer local vaccine manufacturing in Nigeria. In 2008, she transitioned from corporate leadership to focus fully on her entrepreneurial pursuits.
A highly cerebral leader, Oredola holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm Hons) from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos. She is an alumna of the Lagos Business School and has attended numerous executive leadership and management programmes in the United Kingdom, United States, Europe and South Africa.
She is a Fellow of several professional bodies, including the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy and the Nigerian Institute of Marketing. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors and the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce.
