As Nigerians will be joining the rest of the globe to celebrate World Pharmacists Day on 25 September 2019, Pharmanews will be organising a day chat room for all our friends on its Facebook page by 1:00pm.
The theme of this year’s World Pharmacists Day is “Safe and effective medicines for all”, was chosen by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) in order to highlight the key role of pharmacists in protecting patient safety through improved medicine use and reduced medication errors.
Based on the theme, Pharmanews has decided to tag its World Pharmacy Day Chat Room “Impacts of fake and substandard medicines on public health”.
We shall be featuring two public health pharmacists, namely, Pharm. (Mrs) Aderonke Olowu; and Pharm. Isah Mohammed, chairman PSN-YPG Public Health Committee, for the chat.
The conversation, will be happening on our Facebook page with the account name Pharmanews Ltd on 25 September 2019, and it shall be anchored by the digital marketing executive Miss Famodun Omolola.
