It was an exciting and amazing moment for Julius Adelusi – Adeluyi, the founder and Chairman of Juli Plc, as the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Young Pharmacists Group (PSN-YPG) organized a virtual event birthday celebration for his 80th birthday on Wednesday.

Isa Muhammad, national chairman, PSN-YPG, started the virtual celebration by appreciating everyone who was present at the event.

“I want to specially thank everyone who has joined us to felicitate with our grand patron, Prince Julius Adelusi- Adeluyi, who will be clocking 80 on 2 August 2020,”Muhammad said.

In his response, Prince Julius expressed his profound gratitude to the young pharmacists, the originators, the committee members, the chairman, the president and all those that are working in the background for the birthday celebration, saying his joy has no bound.

He specially thanked Dr Obalolu Ojo and Prof.Lere Baale, saying they have proved that when pharmacists put their minds  into something, they do it and even over deliver.

The celebrant advised the young pharmacists to latch on more on advancement in technology, saying “in my wildest imagination I do not think this would be possible.”

He further said that the immediate future is cyber space, noting that anyone not involving his or herself now is really missing out and be will be soon be out of date. YPG must be ready and willing to prepare themselves and fit into cyberspace.

“Each and every one of you should realize that reading helps to make yourself ready and the most endearing readiness springs from character, you must build yourself to be recognized as persons of character, a person of character is reliable and dependable and also respects himself others and take responsibility for his actions,” Adelusi – Adeluyi urged.

According to him: “Preparation is the key, the time will always come, my challenge to you given all the talent you possess, young pharmacists can do more. You young people are the leaders of today”

After the word of advice, many of them sang and rejoiced with the Icon, as they expressed their numerous goodwill messages to him.

Abdulrazzaq Raji, a member of PSN-YPG northeast zone said “on behalf of my zone, I will like to wish daddy, granddaddy and great grand daddy an impactful life and a life well spent”.

Adamu Bello from Bauchi said “happy birthday to you, PSN loves you. May God keep you alive and may you continue to reap all you have labouriously sowed”.

Yinka Oguns: “On behalf of PSN-YPG Lagos, I am wishing Prince Julius, our 360 degrees father a very happy birthday and joyous birthday”.

Yusuf Adeyemi prayed that the Lord continue to bless Prince Julius as he is a daily inspiration to them.
