MODE OF ADMISSION 

The Pre-degree programme is designed to run for two semesters (one academic session). Mode of study is classroom face to face lectures at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

Applicants for admission into the Pre-degree Programme are expected to have a minimum of five ‘0’ Level Credits at one or two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant Science subjects in SSCE/GCE organized by WAEC and NECO or any other equivalent certificates. Applicants for Basic Medicine are expected to have the required five ‘0’ Level Credits in one sitting. Accepted candidates must enroll and write the 2021/2022 JAMB/UTME with relevant subjects’ combination to any programme

METHOD OF ADMISSION 

Candidates are to visit the Rivers State University website www.ust.edu.ng and follow the link for the 2021/2022 Pre-degree Programme Application. Application Form to be completed online (with candidate’s phone number) after payment of application fee of N 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only. Applicants will be expected to bring their SSCE/GCE/NECO certificates/result slips during clearance and registration. Closing date for application is Friday, 31st December, 2021. Photocopy of application download should be submitted to the Pre-degree Office at Rivers State University from Monday, 3rd January, 2022. Clearance and Registration commences on 10th January, 2022 at ICTC premises, RSU, Port Harcourt.
