
Superior Pharmaceuticals has taken a bold step towards enhancing its market presence and fostering stronger relationships with its distributors. On Saturday, 22 February, 2025, the company hosted a strategic business forum at Ibis Hotel in Ikeja, bringing together 19 major distributors from across Nigeria. The event featured enlightening sessions that highlighted Superior Pharmaceuticals’ products, market performance, and upcoming plans for 2025.
The forum kicked off with a warm welcome from Pharm. Ike Okeke, managing director of Superior Pharma, who emphasised the importance of their distributor partnerships. “We are hosting our distributors forum to deepen our relationships and continue our mission of providing affordable, high-quality medicines to Nigerians,” said Pharm. Okeke. “Our distributors are the key to reaching the market. They are our partners, helping us make our products accessible to every corner of the country.”
The event also garnered support from key industry figures, including Pharm. Tunde Oyeniran, president of the Society for Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing of Nigeria (SPSMN). He praised the vital role that distributors play in pharmaceutical businesses, stating, “For companies like Superior Pharmaceuticals, 80 per cenr of sales are channeled through distributors. This forum is a way to show appreciation for the distributors’ efforts in sales and marketing, while also discussing strategies for future growth.”

The gathering proved to be an invaluable opportunity for distributors to share insights and strategise for the future. Key distributors voiced their commitment to further expanding Superior Pharmaceuticals’ reach, recognising its dedication to excellence.
Sir Peter Osagiede of St Peter’s Pharmacy in Benin shared his perspective: “Superior Pharmaceuticals’ focus on growth and expansion is clear. For Chief Innocent Azubuike of Idiaraba Pharmacy Limited in Onitsha, the forum was a chance to learn and collaborate. “This event allows us to understand Superior Pharmaceuticals’ expectations better, while also exchanging ideas with fellow distributors across Nigeria. This ensures that Superior’s products remain popular and in high demand.”
Distributors also praised the pharma company for their commitment to mutual success, especially in challenging economic times. Mr Anthony Osimiri of Tony Pharmacy, Kano expressed his satisfaction, saying, “Despite the difficult economic climate, the partnership has been a win-win.
