Telstar Life Science Executives Pay Courtesy Visit to Pharmanews

Executives of one of the global pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing companies, Telstar Life Science Equipment recently paid a courtesy visit to the corporate head office of Pharmanews Limited, Mende, Maryland.

The Telstar manager – Stephane Allard, accompanied by Mr Jaume Almirall, of the Chamber of Commerce, Barcelona, came all the way from Spain for a fact-finding mission about the Nigerian Pharmaceutical Industry, told the Managing Director, Pharmanews Limited, Sir Ifeanyi Atueyi, that they were in the country for the first time to gather information about the nation’s pharmaceutical business, which will enhance the establishment of their Nigerian office soonest.

With Telstar’s presence in over 13 countries across the globe and distribution of their products and services to more than 100 countries, the company has being in the business of churning out qualitative pharma equipment for over 30 decades.

According to Mr Allard, Telstar has three main divisions, which are Pharma Industry, Research & Medical and Vacuum. The Pharma Industry division, is further sub-divided into Life Science Equipment, which deals with the production of equipment like: Barrier Systems; Freeze Drying; Sterilization; and Process & Water; while the other division focuses on Engineering; Construction; IT Solutions; and EPC management.

Receiving the Telstar team, Sir Atueyi appreciated them for their interest in the Nigerian Pharmaceutical Industry, assuring them of business opportunities in Nigeria, as  local pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in the country, will be willing to leverage Telstar’s quality equipment for better production of drugs and other products.
