Nsukka, home of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, (UNN) in Enugu State, is gearing up to roll out the drums as the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming from 31 March to 3 April 2022.
The ceremony, which will be held at the Princess Alexandria Auditorium, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, will be attended by captains of industry, with UNN Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Arize Igwe and Prof. Kenneth Chibuzor Ofokansi, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UNN, as chief hosts; as well as Director General, National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Prof. Mojisola Christiana Adeyeye, as keynote speaker.
Other dignitaries that will grace the occasion are Prof. Cyril O. Usifoh, president, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) chairman of evening event; Prof. Charles O. Esimone, vice-chancellor, UNIZIK; National President, UNN Alumni Association, Pharm (Sir) Ike Onyechi; Vice- Chairman, Pharm Chijioke Onyia; Golden Jubilee Coordinator, Dr Okey S. Akpa; Chairman of LOC, Prof. Emmanuel C. Ibezim and Secretary Dr Sunday Okafor.
Aside other side attractions, the anniversary will also feature class meetings, class presentations, launching of endowment fund/wall of fame, alumni general meeting, facilities tour, dinner/award night, sight seeings, interaction with students, among others.
