Also speaking, Ohuabunwa, a former Chairman and CEO of Pfizer Nigeria and Neimeth Pharmaceuticals, commended Geneith Pharmaceuticals for its steadfast commitment to quality and innovation in healthcare. “When I was invited to the unveiling of these seven new products, I quickly identified with Geneith because the integrity of this company precedes its products,” he stated.

Ohuabunwa recalled Geneith’s early innovations, such as one of the first Malaria Test Kit in the market, and products like Camosunate, which has gained strong market presence. “Geneith has demonstrated a clear, progressive trajectory, from food importation to franchise and contract manufacturing, and now towards local production,” he noted.

Offering advice to other companies, Ohuabunwa emphasised the importance of reputation in pharmaceuticals: “A pharmaceutical product is taken with trust; quality, efficacy, and safety cannot be compromised. If you cut corners, your brand will eventually suffer as people evaluation is to the effectiveness of what they use. My advice to others is to ensure quality without compromise like Geneith, as consistent quality pays off in the long run.”
