Pharm. Ahmed I. Yakasai, a former President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has thrown his weight behind the newly launched innovative pain relief patch – Salonpas, by Drugstoc Ehub Ltd., and Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Company, Japan.
Describing pain as something that affects everyone at some point in life, Yakasai, who was the chairman at the launch of the product, noted that having access to effective solutions is crucial.
With Salonpas now available in the country, he said Nigerians can benefit from its trusted relief for various types of discomfort -with reduced side effects, improved compliance, improved therapeutic bioavailability as the active ingredient goes from the site to the bloodstream bypassing the digestive system.
Yakasai, who is also the Kachalla of Kano, commended the efforts of the team behind Salonpas for bringing the innovative product to the shores of Nigeria, expressing his optimism that it will make a positive difference in the lives of many.
