143 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Monday, August 31.

According to NCDC, to date, 54,008 cases have been confirmed, 41,638 cases have been discharged and 1,013 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. A total of 403,347 tests have been carried out as of August 30th, 2020 compared to 402,070 tests a day earlier.
