The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) has opened it registration portal for the 80th Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, which will hold in Seville, Spain, from 18 to 22 September, 2022.
Theme for the 80th Congress of the FIP is “Pharmacy United in the Recovering of Healthcare”, and it will be co-hosted by the General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain.
In a statement made available to Pharmanewsonline, the apex pharmacists’ body disclosed its delight to host a physical congress after two years of virtual meetings, orchestrated by the global pandemic of COVID-19.
It promised all participants the opportunity of meeting international colleagues and pharmacy experts to review shared experiences of the past few years and search for solutions to advance the well-being of global communities.

Expatiating on the theme of the congress, the organisation stated: “At this critical time, when the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic are still fresh in the minds of all healthcare professionals, we must create more comprehensive plans to better manage health crises that may be on the horizon.
“Several features of the pandemic may serve as useful springboards to develop better plans for future emergencies and accelerate change in our healthcare systems.
“It is our responsibility to review our shared experiences and search for solutions to advance the well-being of global communities. In creating “the new normal”, pharmacy, united together, can contribute to the recovery of our healthcare systems by building on our developments and innovations during the past two years”.
