COVID-19: Infection Cases Hit 232 in Nigeria – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as at 09:30 pm on Sunday 5th April 2020 disclosed that there are eight new cases of the virus in the country making a total of 232 confirmed cases infected with the disease.

Making the disclosure through its Twitter handle, the agency noted that the eight new cases of #COVID19, five were from Lagos, two in the FCT, one in Kaduna.

For a breakdown of cases by states Lagos- 120 FCT- 47 Osun- 20 Oyo- 9 Edo- 9 Bauchi- 6 Akwa Ibom- 5 Kaduna- 5 Ogun- 4 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-1 Benue- 1 Ondo- 1.

Twenty-three have been discharged with five deaths
