Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited will on Saturday, 6 December, 2025, celebrate its 25th anniversary with a silver jubilee ceremony at the Orchid Hotel, Lagos, marking two and a half decades of contribution to community health and access to essential medicines in Nigeria.
Founded in 2000, the indigenous pharmaceutical company has played a notable role in the supply of affordable medicines, particularly in malaria treatment and essential drug distribution, supporting public-health outcomes across the country.
Speaking ahead of the anniversary, the Chairman of Geneith Pharmaceuticals, Chief Emmanuel Umenwa, said the milestone reflects the company’s sustained commitment to community health and national development.
“For 25 years, Geneith has remained committed to improving access to safe and effective medicines while supporting disease prevention and grassroots health awareness. Our focus has always been on the wellbeing of Nigerians, especially at the community level,” he said.

Geneith is widely recognised for its leadership in the supply of artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) used in malaria control, as well as its expanding portfolio of essential therapeutic products. The company has also implemented youth-led health campaigns and community-based outreach programmes targeted at disease prevention and health education.
The anniversary event is expected to draw stakeholders from government, regulatory agencies, professional associations, development partners, healthcare providers, distributors and the pharmaceutical industry.
As part of its future growth strategy, the company is advancing plans for expanded local pharmaceutical manufacturing in line with the Federal Government’s policy on medicine security, import substitution and pharmaceutical self-sufficiency.
Activities lined up for the celebration include corporate retrospectives, recognition of strategic partners, product exhibitions and the unveiling of Geneith’s public-health sustainability and growth roadmap.
