IQVIA Appoints Adeseun Head, Public Health Africa

The management of IQVIA has announced the promotion of her General Manager in Nigeria, Pharm. Remi Adeseun to a new position as the Principal, Public Health Africa, with immediate effects from 9 October 2019.

The promotional announcement was contained in mail addressed to all employees of the organisation and signed by the Senior Vice-President, General Manager, AMESA, Amit Sadana.

“Remi Adeseun will take on a new role as principal in our public health team, managing all of our public health practice across Africa”, the mail noted.

IQVIA’s management further commended Adeseun for his commitment and dedication to service since he joined the company in 2017, noting that he has assisted in no small measure in advancing the goals of the organisation in English West African speaking countries.

The electronic letter reads: “Remi will be based in Lagos and will continue to be involved in our activities in Nigeria as the GM of our local entity. He joined IQVIA in 2017 and has helped more than double our business in English Speaking West Africa.

“These changes reflect our commitment for IQVIA in Africa towards growing our footprint with existing clients, adding new clients, and accelerating new offerings. With this foundation in place, I am confident IQVIA Africa will scale”.

Aside his professional qualities, Adeseun is adept at moderating events in the healthcare industry, and most recent of the events he was privileged moderate were the Healthcare Leaders’ Panel”, at the Medic West Africa Conference (the Largest Healthcare Event in West Africa); and Pharmanews 40th Anniversary, 80th Birthday of Pharm. (Sir) Ifeanyi Atueyi.
