Shalina Unveils Bolanle Ninalowo as Polygel Ambassador

Shalina Healthcare, a leading pharmaceutical company in the country has officially unveiled a popular Nigerian actor, film producer, model, and philanthropist, Bolanle Ninalowo, popularly known by his stage name ‘Nino B’, as an ambassador for one of its flagship products, Polygel.

The Lagos State-born actor who is a graduate of Accounting from Devry University and a Master’s degree in Branding and Marketing from Kellogg Branding School of Management, both in Chicago, United States of America, was unveiled at the Corporate Head Office of the Company in Lagos to the media and general public as the new ambassador for Polygel.

Speaking during the unveiling, the Deputy General Manager, Marketing, West Africa, Shalina Healthcare, Sandeep Sahu, said the company purposefully made Ninalowo an ambassador, based on the similarities between the personality of the actor and Polygel as a brand, adding that choosing him as ambassador was with the conviction that his values are in line with what Polygel as a brand and by extension, Shalina as a company represent.

According to him; “qualities and values that made Polygel stand out and be unique among all other brands of antacid are also traceable to Ninalowo as an actor, saying it is interesting to note that, just like Polygel, as an antacid brand, Ninalowo as an actor is also popular, top-rated, efficient, adventurous, professional, proven, tested and trusted.

Also speaking, the Brand Manager for Polygel, Femi Laleye, said; the product is a balanced combination of dried aluminium hydroxide gel and magnesium hydroxide as it contains the anti-flatulent agent, simethicone, adding that it is scientifically proven and well reported in medical literature, as it offers a rapid and longer-lasting calming effect on stomach acidity.
