Stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry recently celebrated the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, Ms Kachollom Daju, after she was conferred with the award of Honorary Fellow by the prestigious West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP).
The event which was held at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, in honour of the permanent secretary, was chaired by the MD/CEO of Fidson Healthcare Plc, Mr Fidelis Ayebae, while the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Tunji Alausa was the special guest of honour.
The Secretary General of the College, Prof. Ibrahim Oreagba, who performed the robing exercise expressed appreciation to the Director General, National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) Dr Obi Adigwe, for facilitating the collaboration.
WAPCP, it would be recalled conferred Honorary Fellow Award on Ms Daju at its 36th Annual General Meeting and Scientific Symposium held at the Kairaba hotel, Banjul, the Gambia from 15 to 18 April, 2024.
