Leflunomide is a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug that exerts its
therapeutic effect 4–6 weeks after initiation of treatment. It is started at 100 mg

is recommended. It is available as tablets at 10 mg, 20 mg or 100 mg
strengths. The active metabolite of leflunomide persists for a long period, so
